Straight Wharf is by all means a pretty straight restaurant. In 22 years of coming to Nantucket I have never had a better meal than I had last Saturday night. They have an excellent harbor view, sick art that is for sale on the walls, hot waitresses, cool waiters who are willing to sneek you drinks when your parents think you have been drinking too much, and damn good food. They have a very extensive wine list and the sommelier is quite knowledgeable. The chef's are both pretty young and the restaurant has a pretty hip vibe. Connected to the restaurant is an amazing bar which is perhaps my favorite on island. Don't miss this place.
