Captain Tobey's is not a bad stop to make when going out in Nantucket town. Its less pretentious than many of the nearby bars on the waterfront and their upstairs bar is pretty chill. I have never eaten there, but one does not need to wait very long at the bar to get a drink unlike at some other places on the island. They often play good reggae and have an internet jukebox with tens of thousands of songs. Unfortunately, there are sometimes grungy punk rocker types who usurp the juke box and play crap music. If you're not too into the preppy scene you will probably like this place.
